This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using Motivatum. By using the app, you agree to this AUP. This AUP forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Permitted use
Motivatum is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app to:
- Set and track personal goals, milestones and actions
- Build and monitor positive habits
- Manage personal tasks
- Reflect on your daily progress and wellbeing
- Access motivational and inspirational content
2. Prohibited use
You must not use Motivatum to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation or third-party rights
- Harass, intimidate, stalk or harm any person
- Enter or transmit content that is defamatory, discriminatory, abusive, obscene, hateful or offensive
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any person or entity
- Impersonate any person, organisation or entity, or misrepresent your identity
- Introduce viruses, malware, ransomware or other harmful or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app, its servers, or connected systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app or its related services
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or interact with the app
- Develop a competing product based on the app
- Resell, sublicence or commercialise your access to the app without our express written consent
- Test, probe, scan or assess the vulnerability or security of the app or its underlying infrastructure without our express prior written permission
3. Content standards
All content you enter into Motivatum — including goals, habits, tasks, journal entries and reflections — must:
- Comply with applicable law
- Not infringe any third-party rights
- Not contain personally identifiable information about other individuals without their consent
While your content is stored privately and is not shared publicly, you remain responsible for ensuring it meets these standards.
4. Misuse of the service
We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Suspend your account temporarily
- Permanently terminate your account
- Report the matter to relevant authorities where required by law
We are not obligated to take action against all violations but reserve the right to do so at our discretion.

6. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Motivatum after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP.
